The Gramlich family were apparently some of the first pioneers to settle in this area. The marker below says they arrived in June 1855, which would indeed make them early settlers. Omaha was founded in 1854, but in those days Omaha was a long way from western Sarpy County.
According to the Sarpy County Genweb, Alois Gramlich was one of the original Fairview Cemetery association owners.
I'm guessing that this is the son or grandson of the original cemetery association owner for Fairview, Alois Gramlich, who also appeared to have been named after him.
